“John…” Sherlock let out a low groan, something desperate in it. He was so much paler than he should’ve been, a soft lisp catching as his teeth were extended. John stood, looking at him, frowning. “You idiot!” he said, worry making him sharp. “How long since you’ve fed?” he moved closer. Sherlock backed into the wall but John was already trembling. Sherlock swallowed, tense. “Just… be careful.” John mumbled, nervousness touching his voice - a little excitement too.
Sherlock moved closer, one hand cupping the other side of John’s throat as he pressed his teeth in, carefully, sliding out to try to lock his lips to his friend’s throat, just enough to tide him over, not enough to kill… he found himself sucking andd licking just below the wound a little, desperation making him half crazed as he fed from John, breathing raspily, blood trickling onto fabric and skin. He felt John’s hand automatically slide up, try to push him away, so he wrapped his bloodied fingers around them, pressing it back into John’s chest, lifting his bloodied mouth to mumble, “Don’t fight. I won’t hurt you.” into John’s ear, his eyes a little glazed.

Mary: John, why do you have bite marks on your neck?
John: Sherlock was thirsty so I let him bite me and drink my blood. Next time, you're doing it.
Mary: Oh no I'm not!
John: why not?
Mary: Because I'm pregnant, John! It's too risky!
Maybe John should just start stealing blood packs from the hospital for Sherlock to drink. It's sweet that John let's Sherlock drink his blood because he's worried about him. I could see Sherlock "starving" himself because he doesn't drink blood when he needs to. John would basically have to force Sherlock to drink blood so he doesn't "die" or go crazy with blood-lust.
